Besides facing an overweight epidemic with dogs globally, The Royal Veterinary College in the UK led a study examining over 22,000 dogs in regards to obesity.
The study found that specific breeds were at different risks when it comes to being obesity prone.
If you have an obesity prone dog breed, the dog should have a slightly lower calorie intake to avoid overweight.
